This cocktail shaker is very pretty on my bar. It’s molded glass, not cut crystal, but it does sparkle!Most importantly, the parts fit tightly with no leaks. Adds a bit of class to martini-making. It also came with a little booklet of cocktail recipes, which is pretty neat.

It’s absolutely beautiful and pairs perfectly with our whiskey decanter, making it a piece we’re proud to leave out on display.Although it’s listed as an 18oz shaker in the additional product details section, the actual capacity is 14oz. That’s still plenty for most drinks, though you’ll be mixing one at a time. It’s heavier than a traditional metal shaker, but that weight comes with a serious upgrade in style. The diamond-cut glass is stunning, and the smooth, rounded lid and cap complement it perfectly. The included recipe book is a nice touch to get you started if unfamiliar with drink recipes or if you are looking for something new to try.There’s a silicone gasket in the lid that creates a tight seal, no leaks so far. And because it’s glass, you get more shaking time before the cold transfers to your hands, which is a nice bonus. The glass is thick and feels durable; I’m not worried about breakage unless it’s dropped from a decent height onto a hard surface.The price is right in line with similar styles, but after using this one, I’d be hard pressed to recommend anything else. The look, quality, and durability make it a standout piece that’s earned a permanent spot in our collection.

I recently needed to replace my old cocktail shaker, so I was glad to try out this glass version. The shaker is just the right size for making drinks for myself and my wife, and I really like its look and the texture of the glass. The rubber gasket around the metal shaker lid is a nice touch, helping to create a good seal.One thing to note is that because of air pressure differences, it’s important to remove the cap before placing the metal lid on the glass shaker. Overall, the shaker is easy to use and the price seems typical for this kind of product. While I wish it were dishwasher safe, cleaning by hand is easy thanks to its glass construction.

This cocktail shaker seems nice. It’s my first one, so I can’t compare it to anything else. The quality of the glass is good and I enjoy the pineapple-like texture. There’s a rubber gasket seal between the glass and the lid to prevent leaks. I did notice that the metal components have a noticeable metallic smell. I don’t know whether this is normal for cocktail shakers but none of my other metal kitchen utensils smell metallic. I’m a little concerned that a metallic taste could be imparted to a drink, depending on what liquids you use. The price is currently $16.99 which seems like a good deal based on the quality of the product.

It does feel as weighty as it looks. The pattern you see on the glass is a faceted pattern that you can feel. The raised edges are not sharp.Husband washed this by hand; this would not go in the dishwasher.Does the job it is intended to do for the home bartender.
