Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 2 oz Scotch whiskey orbourbon
  • ●      Optional:orange or lemon peel, soda water

Method
 

  1. In a large glass, mix the sugar into the bitters until it dissolves.
  2. Add the whiskey and a few large ice cubes to the glass and stir to chill the cocktail.
  3. Strain into a cold old-fashioned glass to serve.
  4. Optional: dilute the whiskey slightly with a splash of soda water for a milder drink, and garnish with your chosen citrus peel.
