Ingredients

  

• 1 teaspoon Sugar
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 2 dashes Orange bitters
• 2 oz Scotch whiskey orbourbon
• ●      Optional:orange or lemon peel, soda water

Instructions

 

• In a large glass, mix the sugar into the bitters until it dissolves.
• Add the whiskey and a few large ice cubes to the glass and stir to chill the cocktail.
• Strain into a cold old-fashioned glass to serve.
• Optional: dilute the whiskey slightly with a splash of soda water for a milder drink, and garnish with your chosen citrus peel.
